2022 Westerman Foundation Grant Funding Update

Dear Faithful Community Servants,

In 2020, the Westerman Foundation Board of Directors made an unprecedented decision to provide donor-designated funding to Catholic schools and community organizations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, this pandemic has persisted and continued to adversely impact families in communities across the country. The Westerman Foundation is committed to supporting organizations that are aligned with our mission and that have demonstrated their ability to produce positive outcomes in the lives of individuals they serve. We are focused on measuring our funding impact and will utilize the data to assist us in evaluating our impact.

Please note that 2021 was the last year for the Westerman Foundation to provide COVID-19 community relief grant funding. In 2022, the Foundation will introduce a new funding plan, funding priorities, and an updated grant application process. We will continue to share details with you regarding the new funding process, so please be on the lookout for future emails from the Foundation with updates as they become available.

The Westerman Foundation is honored to partner with you in serving families in your community during this critical time. We value your work and that of your staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to carry out your mission. Please do not hesitate to contact the Foundation team if you have any questions or if we can be of further support.

On Mission Together,

Valerie H. Goddard
Executive Director
The Westerman Foundation
