​"... Jane Westermans contribution to Benedictine College has been tremendous. As well as being a major benefactor for the renovations and improvements to Westerman Hall and Freshman Hall (now Elizabeth Hall), she provided the last six figure gift for the completion of Marys Grotto. She has been a long-time sponsor of the colleges annual Scholarship Ball and the Angels Program scholarship and she served on the colleges Board of Directors from 1991 to 1999. She provided the initial funding for the Fellowship Of Catholic University Students program, which originated at Benedictine College in 1998.
