Application process
The Westerman Foundation operates an invitation-only grant application process and does not accept unsolicited proposals. Organizations selected to apply receive information directly from the Foundation regarding funding opportunities, application requirements, important dates, and next steps.
Funding Priorities
We support organizations and initiatives that reflect our commitment to Catholic education, family resiliency, and assistance to the poor and abused. Guided by Catholic Social Teaching, we prioritize programs that uphold human dignity, expand opportunity, strengthen families, and serve vulnerable communities.
Geographic Focus
Our grantmaking is primarily focused in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Louisiana, reflecting the Westerman family's longstanding ties to these communities. We may also consider opportunities outside these states when an organization's mission and impact strongly align with our funding priorities.
